In 2004, only four years founding the company in the Silicon Valley, NOVO began its operations in San Francisco. Our San Francisco office supports not only customers in the area, but also our East and North Bay clients as well. The clientele range from small startups looking to build their first office, to large enterprises building vertical campuses in San Francisco. As a team, we pride ourselves in building long-term relationships with loyal customers. NOVO has become the largest Tenant Interior contractor in San Francisco.  Since 2004, NOVO has built over 6 million square feet.

100,000 SF, four-floor project that included design and construction of new office space for Pinterest at 651 Brannan. The space was built out primarily as an open workspace that included general office area and product development functions. Included in the construction was workshop area, all-hands space, and a full service kitchen.

Considerable base building improvement was done during construction as well. An existing atrium was opened and a new interconnecting staircase was built between all four floors.

This project was recognized with a 2016 American Architecture Prize in the Workspace category. More information on the award and the project can be viewed here.


200,000 SF of multiple high end, full floor, and phased tenant improvements projects at Riverbed’s San Francisco office. Projects included open area seating with low panel electrified workstations to allow more natural lighting, conference rooms and phone rooms located at the core of the floors for privacy and meetings, high end break rooms and game rooms, reception entry with custom reception desk and integrated AV for virtual receptionist, IDF closets, and large main server rooms for each office. All projects were completed on schedule and under budget.


50,000 SF project over two floors, including shared common amenities including break areas, conference rooms and focus spaces used by Malwarebytes staff. The project also included meeting rooms, a full service kitchen, all-hands meeting space, break/pantry areas, lounge spaces, and other special use areas including a large interconnected stairway. The primary goal was to provide Malwarebytes a new facility to meet its expanding needs in a design commensurate with their image. NOVO provided all pre-construction services, demolition, new construction, finishes, carpentry, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing solutions.


57,000 SF of new tenant improvement with included new all hands and large break room. Incorporated existing conf rooms and office build out with the new construction. Provide wood slates, custom wall covering, wood panel finishes. Provided VE options to build out the space per the client’s budget.

Mike Bank

Mike provides operations oversight to NOVO’s San Francisco office. His technical background allows him to communicate well with owners, subcontractors and design professionals. Likewise, his attention to detail provides a great sense of security to NOVO clients and employees alike.
